A number of common ailments can be treated by your local pharmacist under the minor ailments scheme. These include:

  • Coughs and colds
  • Sore throats
  • Nasal symptoms
  • Athlete’s Foot
  • Dhobi itch
  • Diarrhoea
  • Head lice
  • Threadworms
  • Vaginal Thrush
  • Hay Fever (March-September)

  1. Be a non-smoker
  2. Be a reasonable weight
  3. Take regular exercise
  4. Eat a high-fibre, low fat diet
  5. Take alcohol only in moderation
  6. Avoid excessive exposure to the sun

Health Promotion Sessions
Run by the practice nurse. Ask at reception for an appointment

  • For men and women
  • For all new patients
  • Provides a general health check
  • Advice on healthy living
